Dear Ms. Tobin,
I am the editor of Magazines for Libraries (http://www.bowker.com/index.php/component/content/article/488), a reference publication used by librarians around the world for building and maintaining library serial collections, and for library instruction. We are in the process of working on the upcoming 19th edition of MFL, and at present, the chapter on Animal Welfare does not have an author.

I am seeking an author for this chapter, and I found your blog posting about helping the ASPCA. I wonder if you might be interested in writing this chapter? If you would like to see what is involved in doing so, please take a look at my web site, at: http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~claguard/mfl_guide_new.html.

If there is any further information I can provide about this, please let me know. I hope you will be interested in the project.

Many thanks for your time and attention,
Cheryl LaGuardia
